Benjamin Starnes, MD
(Vascular Surgery)

Dr. Starnes is a professor of surgery and chief of the Vascular Surgery Division at the University of Washington. He was recruited to the University of Washington in 2007 after a 15-year career in the U.S. Army for which he had operative experience in three combat tours. He is considered an international expert in the management of aortic disease and vascular trauma. His clinical interests include ruptured aoritic aneurysms, blunt traumatic aortic injury, aortic dissection and vascular trauma.
