Patrick Heagerty is the chair of the Department of Biostatistics at the School of Public Health at the University of Washington. His research interests are regression techniques for dependent data including marginal models and random effects models for longitudinal data, methods for categorical time series, and hierarchical models for categorical spatial data; statistical computing; applications in epidemiology and ecology.
